St. Luke’s School Announces Staffing Changes

St. Luke’s School is pleased to announce some changes to faculty responsibilities as well as the addition of new faculty and staff.

 

  • Former first grade teacher Bridgeen O’Hanley is moving over to our Preschool. She has taught Preschool before and yearned to get back to that age group.

  • Lisa Mangione, a St. Luke’s School graduate with 7 years of teaching experience in a Catholic School, has been appointed as the new teacher in grade 1.

  • Former Spanish teacher Eve Ohlen has been appointed as the new teacher in grade 3.

  • Amanda Fournier has been appointed as the new Spanish teacher for Preschool to grade 8. A Catholic school alum she is a recent graduate of Rhode Island College.

  • Alida Bartel has been appointed as the new Physical Education/Health teacher and Athletics Coordinator. She is also a Catholic school alum who graduated from Rhode Island College. She interned at St. Pius School as well as at St. Luke’s before taking a long-term sub position at LaSalle.

  • We are happy to welcome two new nurses to St. Luke’s School, Anna Hurley (RN) and Elizabeth Letvinchuk (BSN, RN). In addition to being a St. Luke’s School grad, Nurse Anna was a substitute nurse at SLS and a great help over the last two years during COVID. She will be here on M-T-W. Nurse Liz has been a school nurse at several schools, most recently working with Wheeler School. She will be here on Th-F.
